Pay attention to the housing market
- Great article, I'd like to suggest that each owner/operator of retail location have an understanding of what's happening economically to their local market today, something that demographic reports don't tell you. Compared to last year, is the local unemployment rate going up or down, are the homes in the area underwater, are the homes in the area losing value (lower price per square foot)? All of these scenarios affects a customers willingness to spend money.
