Sweeping Slippery Substances

If you've ever had to clean up a liquid spill, you probably know that most of the time is spent chasing the mess with a mop. Instead of spending all day mopping up a liquid spill, just throw some kitty litter on top of the slippery substance.

In 5-10 minutes the kitty litter has absorbed all of the liquid, making it quick and easy to sweep up the mess. This trick works well with laundry soap, oil, and most kitchen cleaners.

Don't forget to place Caution signs near the site of the spill.
