A reader writes:
We are opening a retail business and I am having trouble finding "real wholesalers" to get inventory from. We are looking at a variety of things, fabric and sewing novelties, housewares, tools. Anyone have any suggestions. I have found a few, but could use a little help.

Can you provide any reliable vendors for this reader?

Your industry should have at least 1 trade organization that can advise you of trade shows – and suppliers to the trade.

I would start there for a wealth of information, good luck.

As you are well aware the internet wholesale world is filled with companies just trying to squeeze people for money by selling books, ebooks, charging membership fees to access directory information or simply reselling your product at higher prices to retailers. My mission is to provide supplier sources and relevant feedback information for free, to truly deliver on the promise of the Internet, which is to allow buyers to find sources directly.
