Operating Legally

Tuesday July 25, 2006

When we moved our retail location from its rural location in the county to a downtown area, we thought it would be pretty simple. Our plan was to have no down time and we thought we could move the contents of the store over the weekend reopen the store on Monday. How wrong we were!

With our new location within the city limits came several new permits and licenses. As it turned out, our plan became a two week reopening delay. It was a delay that could have been avoided had we realized and obtained everything in advance. Before you open your retail store, make sure you have the necessary business licenses and permits.
